Union Approved Workwear Manufacturers' List
The list below of TCFUA (Vic Branch) approved manufacturers of workwear and protective clothing has been compiled to assist other unions and interested parties in their selection of makers of workwear. The list has been endorsed by the Victorian Trades Hall Council.
The list identifies if the garments are made by union members with Federal Award conditions or Enterprise Agreement conditions, and whether made in Victoria.
In addition, the list identifies if the company is accredited under the Code of Practice for Outwork. This means they have not only signed the Code but that they also provide report data that shows who does the work and that minimum award conditions at least are applied.
